Global Helping Hands Foundation is an NGO in India headquartered in Delhi. Our organization strives to work towards creating a better India which provides basic health, education and empowerment to the underprivileged children’s and women’s in the rural villages of India.
We have been established in August 2017 and we currently run programs in remote and inaccessible villages, hilly and tribal regions where both public and private health services have hardly reached the poor in the north east states of India.
Many States of North East comes under top 10 poorest states of India, reason being Adverse Geographical Location (ie. Away from the Main production Centre), Climatic conditions (i.e floods), Cross border conflicts, Ethnic unrest, Poor infrastructure.
The people are very poor and living in remote areas without any fundamental facilities The Main occupation being mostly farming and other source of income is to work as a labour. The standard of living is very penurious as the locals struggle to earn their daily bread and butter. The women and children are the first to suffer due to high poverty levels and no infrastructure like schools, roads, hospitals, electricity etc.
Some of us are very lucky to get education which has raised our standard of living. Rural villagers deserve it too. Please support us to give them a chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with their urban peers.
